Been tracking DOGE network fees for the past month and they've finally dropped back to 0.003 DOGE per transaction - that's roughly $0.0008 CAD at current rates. Remember when they spiked to 0.15 DOGE back in November? Made $5 bets completely pointless with the fee eating 3% of your stake.

Now I can actually justify using DOGE for small sessions again. Tried a few

0-20 deposits at crypto sites over the weekend and the fees were basically invisible. Makes me wonder if other meme coins will follow suit or if DOGE is just having a quiet period.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for! Just moved $500 worth of DOGE to Mirax Casino yesterday and the transaction cost was literally pennies. Been avoiding crypto gambling for months because those November fees were absolutely brutal - lost $45 just in transaction costs trying to chase a bad streak.

Hit a nice 180x multiplier on Plinko last night for $720 and the withdrawal back to my wallet cost the same 0.003 DOGE. Finally feels like the old days when you could make quick

Specific question on MyStake's withdrawal process. After requesting a withdrawal, they send a confirmation email that you must click to authorize the cashout — this is a security step that's not common across most operators, MyStake is one of the few that does it. Mine arrived 3 hours and 11 minutes after I requested the withdrawal.

Is the 3-hour email delay typical? Looking at MyStake forum threads elsewhere, some folks say the email arrives within 5 minutes, some say 6+ hours. I'm wondering if the delay correlates with deposit size, account age, or just operational load.

Practical effect: my withdrawal didn't actually start processing until I clicked the link 3 hours later. Total time from request to BTC arrival was 4 hours 22 minutes, of which 3 hours was the email wait.

0 deposits without doing math on whether the fees made it worthwhile. Planning to stick with DOGE for all my smaller sessions until something changes.

Don't get too comfortable with those low fees. DOGE network activity is cyclical and we're just in a quiet period right now. Once Elon tweets something or retail FOMO kicks in again, you'll see those fees jump back to 0.05+ DOGE overnight.

Also worth noting that most crypto casinos are still charging their own processing fees on top of network costs. Check your deposit/withdrawal history carefully.

Been running the numbers on this for weeks now. DOGE at 0.003 per transaction beats every other major crypto for small-stake gambling right now. Bitcoin's averaging $9.50 CAD, Ethereum mainnet is $4-6 even with current gas prices, and even Litecoin is sitting around 0.02 LTC which works out to about

What's really interesting is how this affects bonus wagering strategies. With fees this low, you can actually break larger bonuses into multiple smaller sessions without bleeding money on transaction costs. I tested this at 7bit last week with their 100% match up to 1 BTC - instead of one massive deposit, I did five smaller DOGE deposits and saved roughly

5 in total fees compared to using Bitcoin.

The math changes completely when you can ignore transaction costs. Suddenly those 0.5x-1x betting strategies for bonus clearing become viable again because you're not losing 2-3% of your bankroll just moving money around.

Good to see DOGE being useful for something again! Been holding a small bag since 2021 and finally found a reason to actually spend some of it. The wife's been giving me grief about "that dog money" sitting in the wallet doing nothing.

Tried a few spins at my usual spots and you're right - feels like free money movement again. Just hope it stays this way through the winter.

The fee reduction is significant but let's look at the bigger picture. DOGE's 1-minute block times give you faster confirmations than Bitcoin's 10-minute average, but most crypto casinos still require 3-6 confirmations for deposits. So you're looking at 3-6 minutes for DOGE vs 30-60 minutes for Bitcoin.

However, withdrawal speeds vary dramatically by operator. Some process DOGE withdrawals within 15 minutes, others batch them hourly. The fee savings only matter if you're not waiting 4 hours for your cashout to hit the blockchain anyway.

This might be a dumb question, but how do I actually buy DOGE in Canada without getting killed on exchange fees? I've been using Bitcoin through my bank's crypto service but they don't offer DOGE. Is it worth setting up accounts on multiple exchanges just to access different coins for gambling?

Also, do most crypto casinos accept DOGE deposits the same way as Bitcoin, or are there different minimum amounts and processing times I should know about?

@newbie nick qc - Coinsquare is probably your cleanest option for DOGE in Canada without jumping through multiple hoops. Their fees aren't amazing (around 0.5% plus spread) but they're regulated here and you can fund directly from your bank account. Bitbuy is another solid choice with similar fee structure.

That said, at 0.003 DOGE per transaction you're talking about roughly $0.0008 CAD in fees right now. Even if you're making $5 bets, that's basically nothing compared to what you'll pay the exchange to acquire the DOGE in the first place. The real savings kick in when you're moving larger amounts or making frequent deposits - I've been using BC.game for DOGE deposits and their 1-confirmation policy means I'm usually playing within 2-3 minutes of sending.

@BCH Betsy - Coinsquare's 0.5% plus spread is actually closer to 1.2% all-in when you factor in their buy-sell spread, which they don't advertise upfront. I've tracked it over multiple purchases and you're getting hit twice. Plus their DOGE liquidity is thin compared to BTC, so larger orders move the price against you.

The real question is whether chasing 0.003 DOGE fees is worth the exchange premium you'll pay to get the coins in the first place. If you're making

@skeptical steve mb - You're absolutely right about Coinsquare's hidden spread costs. I tracked my DOGE purchases there over three months last year and the all-in cost was consistently 1.1-1.3%. What really burns me is they show you one fee structure but the liquidity gaps hit you on the backend.

For what it's worth, I've been using Kraken for DOGE since they opened to Canadians. Their maker fees are 0.16% and the DOGE liquidity is actually decent - I can move $500-800 worth without significant slippage. Takes about 10 minutes to fund via Interac but the transparency beats getting nickel-and-dimed on spreads.

@blackjack bob mb - Your 1.1-1.3% tracking matches my calculations exactly. I ran the numbers on Coinsquare's DOGE spreads last September and found their effective rate hits 1.27% during peak trading hours when liquidity thins out. The real killer is they quote you 0.5% but the bid-ask spread adds another 0.6-0.8% that only shows up at execution.

For micro-betting with these 0.003 DOGE fees, you need to factor in the exchange cost too. At current DOGE prices around $0.08 CAD, a

0 deposit costs you roughly $0.25 in exchange fees alone before you even place a bet. Cloudbet actually lets you deposit DOGE directly without the Coinsquare conversion step, which saves that entire spread hit if you're already holding DOGE elsewhere.
