Just checked the gas tracker and we're sitting at 12 gwei for standard transactions - lowest I've seen since early December. Been waiting to consolidate my balances across different crypto sites and this looks like the window.

For context, I've got ETH spread across four different casinos from various deposit sessions, and moving it around last month was costing

5-20 per transaction when gas was hovering around 35-40 gwei. At current rates, I'm looking at maybe
-4 per move.

Current situation:

  • Standard ETH transfer: ~
.20 (vs
8+ last week)
  • ERC-20 token moves: ~$4.50 (was

Specific question on MyStake's withdrawal process. After requesting a withdrawal, they send a confirmation email that you must click to authorize the cashout — this is a security step that's not common across most operators, MyStake is one of the few that does it. Mine arrived 3 hours and 11 minutes after I requested the withdrawal.

Is the 3-hour email delay typical? Looking at MyStake forum threads elsewhere, some folks say the email arrives within 5 minutes, some say 6+ hours. I'm wondering if the delay correlates with deposit size, account age, or just operational load.

Practical effect: my withdrawal didn't actually start processing until I clicked the link 3 hours later. Total time from request to BTC arrival was 4 hours 22 minutes, of which 3 hours was the email wait.

    5+ during the spike)
  • Contract interactions: ~$6-8 (down from
  • 0+)

Anyone else taking advantage of this dip to shuffle funds around? Or are you seeing different gas estimates on your end?

Perfect timing - just moved 0.3 ETH from my cold wallet to Vave and only paid

.80 in gas. Their ETH deposits usually take 12 confirmations but I was credited in 8 minutes flat.

Hold up - 12 gwei sounds great until you realize we were at 8-9 gwei consistently through most of 2023. This "low" is still 30% higher than what we should consider normal. The whole network has been artificially inflated by all the NFT and DeFi nonsense.

That said, yeah, if you've been stuck with funds scattered across sites, now's better than waiting. Just don't celebrate too hard - we're still getting fleeced compared to what ETH transfers should actually cost.

Been tracking this closely since gas spiked to 45 gwei during that memecoin frenzy two weeks ago. The timing is actually ideal because several crypto casinos have been processing ETH withdrawals faster when network congestion drops.

I tested this yesterday - withdrew 0.15 ETH from three different sites between 2-4 PM EST:

Site A: 23 minutes to hit my wallet (normally 45-60 min)
    Site B: 41 minutes (usually 1.5-2 hours)
    Site C: 67 minutes (typically 2+ hours)

The reduced gas competition means miners are picking up transactions quicker, and casino hot wallets aren't sitting in pending limbo. If you're planning to move funds, weekday afternoons seem optimal - less retail trading activity keeping fees stable.

One thing to watch: weekends still see spikes even at these "low" base rates. Friday evening through Sunday night, that 12 gwei can easily jump to 20-25 gwei when everyone's moving crypto around.

    Finally! I've had

80 worth of USDT stuck across two sites because moving it was going to cost me $40+ in fees. Made zero sense to transfer and lose 20% to gas.

Just consolidated everything onto MyStake for their Tuesday reload bonus - total gas cost was

1.40 for three separate moves. Still annoying but at least manageable now.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually check current gas prices? I've been using MetaMask's default estimates and they seem way higher than what you're all posting.

@newbie_from_nb - MetaMask tends to overshoot by 15-20% to guarantee faster confirmation. Use ethgasstation.info or gasprice.io for real-time tracking. You can manually set lower gas in MetaMask's advanced settings, but be prepared to wait longer if the network gets busy.

@CryptoDealer_MTL - Good call on the timing. I've been watching the 7-day average and we're definitely in a sweet spot. Last time we saw sustained sub-15 gwei was November, and that window only lasted about 10 days before some DeFi protocol launch sent everything back up to 30+.
