Been tracking gas fees for the past couple weeks and they're creeping back up to annoying levels. Used to be able to make

Specific question on MyStake's withdrawal process. After requesting a withdrawal, they send a confirmation email that you must click to authorize the cashout — this is a security step that's not common across most operators, MyStake is one of the few that does it. Mine arrived 3 hours and 11 minutes after I requested the withdrawal.

Is the 3-hour email delay typical? Looking at MyStake forum threads elsewhere, some folks say the email arrives within 5 minutes, some say 6+ hours. I'm wondering if the delay correlates with deposit size, account age, or just operational load.

Practical effect: my withdrawal didn't actually start processing until I clicked the link 3 hours later. Total time from request to BTC arrival was 4 hours 22 minutes, of which 3 hours was the email wait.

0-30 ETH deposits without sweating the network costs, but now you're looking at $8-12 just to move funds around.

Anyone else adjusting their crypto gambling strategy because of this? Starting to think smaller sessions just aren't worth it when the gas eats up 30% of your deposit before you even spin a reel.

What's driving the spike?

From what I can tell, it's a mix of increased DeFi activity and some NFT collections launching. The usual suspects. But it's hitting us recreational players hard when we just want to throw a few bucks at some slots.

Alternative chains worth considering?

Polygon and BSC are still cheap, but not every casino supports them. Curious what others are doing to work around this.

This is exactly why I switched to Bitcoin Cash months ago. Network fees are consistently under a dollar, even for small amounts. Sure, fewer casinos support it compared to ETH, but 7bit has solid BCH support and I can deposit

5 without losing half to fees.

Gas spikes like this always remind me why the original Bitcoin vision made sense for everyday transactions.

The math doesn't lie - when gas hits

0+ you need to be depositing at least
00 to keep fees under 10% of your bankroll. That's basic bankroll management.

I've been tracking this since 2021 and the pattern is always the same: fees spike, small players get priced out, then it settles back down in a few weeks. Just have to ride it out or switch chains temporarily.

Polygon has been my go-to for months now. Deposits are literally pennies and withdrawals are instant. BC.game supports MATIC deposits and the experience is way smoother than dealing with ETH gas roulette.

Only downside is you have to bridge your funds first, but even with bridging costs it's still cheaper than mainnet ETH right now.

Here we go again with the gas fee complaints. You crypto folks knew what you signed up for. This is why I stick to good old Interac transfers - flat

.50 fee regardless of amount.

All this network congestion nonsense is exactly why traditional banking still has its place. At least my deposits don't cost more when the network gets busy.

The timing is brutal because we're heading into summer and people want to gamble with smaller amounts more frequently. Nobody wants to lock up

00 just to make the gas fees reasonable.

I've been recommending people batch their deposits - instead of five

5 deposits, do one
25 deposit and manage it across multiple sessions. Not ideal but it's the only way to make ETH work right now.

Been using Litecoin more lately for exactly this reason. Fees are under 50 cents and confirmations are fast enough. Most of the bigger casinos support it and you don't have to deal with all the Layer 2 bridging complexity.

Sometimes the old altcoins are the answer. LTC was designed for payments and it still works better than ETH for moving gambling funds around.

Randy's onto something with Litecoin - I've been using it at https://go.affiliatemystake.com/visit/?bta=3119213&nci=5618&afp=86ahfhqa6 for months and the fees are consistently under 40 cents even when Bitcoin spikes to

5+. The confirmations hit in about 2.5 minutes versus waiting 20+ minutes for ETH when the network's clogged.

5 bet when LTC has been sitting there working perfectly the whole time. Most crypto gamblers seem stuck on Bitcoin and Ethereum like they're the only options, but honestly the payment experience is way smoother with the older alts.
