Posted this in the wrong section earlier so trying again here. Had a weird experience yesterday with Interac e-Transfer deposits that's got me scratching my head.

Tried to deposit

Specific question on MyStake's withdrawal process. After requesting a withdrawal, they send a confirmation email that you must click to authorize the cashout — this is a security step that's not common across most operators, MyStake is one of the few that does it. Mine arrived 3 hours and 11 minutes after I requested the withdrawal.

Is the 3-hour email delay typical? Looking at MyStake forum threads elsewhere, some folks say the email arrives within 5 minutes, some say 6+ hours. I'm wondering if the delay correlates with deposit size, account age, or just operational load.

Practical effect: my withdrawal didn't actually start processing until I clicked the link 3 hours later. Total time from request to BTC arrival was 4 hours 22 minutes, of which 3 hours was the email wait.

00 CAD at Mirax Casino around 2:30 PM using my TD chequing account. The transfer went through on my banking app but never showed up in my casino balance. Waited 4 hours, contacted support, they said the payment processor rejected it and I'd see the refund in 3-5 business days.

Same evening around 8 PM, decided to try mBit instead with the exact same bank account and same

00 amount. Transfer completed instantly - money hit my casino balance in under 2 minutes.

Both sites claim they use the same Canadian payment processor (Gigadat). Is this normal or did something go sideways with Mirax's system? Still haven't seen that refund yet.

Different casinos route through different merchant accounts even when they claim the same processor. Mirax likely uses a higher-risk merchant ID that gets more scrutiny from Canadian banks, while mBit's setup has better approval rates. TD specifically flags certain gambling merchant codes more aggressively than others.

The 3-5 day timeframe is standard but I've seen Interac reversals take up to 7 business days depending on the rejection reason. Check if TD sent you any fraud alerts - sometimes they block silently then release the hold later.

Mirax has been having payment issues for weeks. Saw multiple complaints on Reddit about failed Interac transfers that took 8-10 days to reverse. Their support keeps blaming the processor but it's clearly their merchant setup.

Had the exact same thing happen in November. Tried to deposit $500 at Mirax using RBC and it vanished into thin air for 6 days. Support kept giving me the runaround about "technical difficulties" with their Canadian processor.

Ended up switching to mBit for that session and the deposit cleared in 90 seconds flat. Been using them exclusively since then - made probably 15 deposits ranging from

00 to $800 and never had a single issue. Their Interac processing is rock solid.

The Mirax refund eventually came through but took 9 business days total. Lost out on a good bonus offer waiting for that mess to sort itself out. Lesson learned - stick with sites that have their payment infrastructure figured out.

This is why I switched to crypto exclusively last year. Interac is unreliable across half these offshore sites and the banks keep tightening restrictions. Bitcoin deposits at Cloudbet take 15 minutes max and never get rejected by some random merchant filter.

Sure there's a learning curve with wallets but once you're set up it's infinitely smoother than dealing with Canadian banking nonsense.

Ugh, payment drama is the worst part of online gambling! I stick to sites where I know the deposits work reliably. Nothing kills the fun faster than having your money disappear into processing limbo.

Mirax's payment processing has been garbage for months. They switched processors in September and it's been downhill since then. Multiple failed deposits, delayed withdrawals, the whole nine yards. Their license might be legit but their operational setup is amateur hour.

TD, RBC, and Scotia all flag certain merchant IDs more aggressively now. The big banks are cracking down on anything that looks like offshore gambling, even if it's technically legal under Canadian law. Some sites adapt their processing to work around it, others just hope for the best.
