Having a rough week with Interac e-Transfer deposits. Three separate attempts bounced back to my TD account over the past 5 days - two at different sites, one retry that also failed.

First failure was a $450 deposit to a licensed Ontario site on Tuesday morning around 9:30 AM. Got the usual "deposit successful" confirmation, money left my account, then 6 hours later it reversed back with no explanation from either the casino or my bank.

Second failure happened Thursday evening -

Specific question on MyStake's withdrawal process. After requesting a withdrawal, they send a confirmation email that you must click to authorize the cashout — this is a security step that's not common across most operators, MyStake is one of the few that does it. Mine arrived 3 hours and 11 minutes after I requested the withdrawal.

Is the 3-hour email delay typical? Looking at MyStake forum threads elsewhere, some folks say the email arrives within 5 minutes, some say 6+ hours. I'm wondering if the delay correlates with deposit size, account age, or just operational load.

Practical effect: my withdrawal didn't actually start processing until I clicked the link 3 hours later. Total time from request to BTC arrival was 4 hours 22 minutes, of which 3 hours was the email wait.

80 deposit, same pattern. Money gone, confirmation received, then back in my account Friday morning.

Anyone else seeing this pattern?

Called TD and they're claiming "merchant restrictions" but couldn't give specifics. The weird part is these same sites worked fine for months before this week. Wondering if there's some backend processing change happening that Canadian banks aren't communicating properly.

Really frustrated because I had some good bonus timing lined up and now I'm stuck using crypto deposits which take forever to clear.

Banks are cracking down hard right now. My RBC rep actually warned me last month that they're flagging more gambling transactions, especially ones over

00. The "merchant restrictions" line is their polite way of saying they're blocking it on purpose.

Switch to smaller amounts - I've been doing

00 max per transfer and haven't had a bounce since October.

I've tracked this exact issue across 8 different sites this month. The pattern is always the same - deposits under

50 go through fine, anything above starts getting rejected. It's not random technical failures, it's deliberate filtering.

What's working for me is splitting larger deposits across 2-3 transactions, usually 4-6 hours apart. Also switched my main deposits to Freshbet because their Interac processing seems more reliable - only had one bounce there in the past month compared to multiple failures elsewhere.

The bonus timing issue is real though. Nothing worse than a time-sensitive reload offer expiring while your deposit sits in limbo.

This hits close to home because I just went through deposit hell last weekend trying to fund a big session. Had planned to put

,200 across two sites for their weekend reload bonuses - both 100% matches that only run Friday through Sunday.

First attempt Friday night: $600 to my usual spot, bounced back Saturday morning. Tried again with $400, same result. By Sunday afternoon I was scrambling to get anything through before the bonuses expired.

Ended up using Bitcoin through Betwhale instead, which took 45 minutes to confirm but at least went through. Their weekend bonus was still active and I managed to turn that $400 into a decent session, but the whole experience was a nightmare.

The really annoying part is that my bank shows these as "successful transfers" initially, so you think everything's fine until hours later when the reversal hits. Makes it impossible to plan around bonus timing when you never know if your deposit will actually stick.

I'm seriously considering switching to crypto-only deposits at this point, even though the volatility makes budgeting harder.

The Interac issues are why I went full crypto 6 months ago. Sure, Bitcoin fees are annoying when they spike, but at least when you send a transaction you know it's either going through or failing immediately - none of this 6-hour delay nonsense.

Litecoin has been my go-to lately. Confirmations usually take 15-20 minutes and fees stay under $0.50 even during busy periods.

I've had mixed results but noticed the failures seem tied to specific banks more than the casino sites themselves. My Scotiabank Interac transfers have been rock solid, while my friend with CIBC has been getting bounced left and right since mid-December.

Also worth noting that business hours seem to matter. Deposits sent between 9 AM and 5 PM on weekdays have a much higher success rate in my experience. Evening and weekend deposits are where I see most of the failures happening.

Wait, so this is a common thing? I thought it was just me being new and doing something wrong. My first three deposit attempts all bounced back and I was starting to think online gambling wasn't legal in Canada or something.

Should I be using smaller amounts then? And is there a specific time of day that works better?
