Started noticing this Monday around 3 PM EST - Litecoin deposits at Flush Casino that normally clear in 15-20 minutes are now taking 8+ hours to show up in my account. Made a 0.5 LTC deposit Monday evening that didn't credit until Tuesday morning, then another 1.2 LTC yesterday that took nearly 12 hours.

Checked the Litecoin network and it's showing heavy congestion with unconfirmed transactions backing up. Block times are running 4-5 minutes instead of the usual 2.5 minutes, and mempool is sitting at around 45,000 pending transactions.

Anyone else seeing similar delays?

Wondering if this is affecting other crypto casinos or just Flush's processing system. Their support said they require 6 confirmations for LTC deposits, which explains the wait time when blocks are slow.

Classic excuse from Flush support. The "6 confirmations" thing is standard across most crypto casinos, but they can adjust it during network issues if they actually cared about user experience. BC.game dropped their LTC requirement to 3 confirmations last year when we had similar congestion.

Flush just doesn't want to take on any extra risk, so they make us wait while they collect interest on our funds sitting in limbo.

Been tracking this across multiple platforms. MyStake actually handles LTC congestion better - they use dynamic confirmation requirements that scale with network conditions. During Monday's backup, they were processing LTC deposits in 3-4 hours while maintaining the same security standards.

The real issue is that most Canadian players don't realize the confirmation requirements vary by casino. Flush's 6-confirmation policy made sense when LTC blocks were consistent, but they haven't adapted their risk management to current network realities.

Wait, so confirmation times can change based on network traffic? I'm new to crypto gambling and thought it was always the same. Does this mean I should avoid LTC deposits when the network is busy? What's the best way to check if there's congestion before making a deposit?

This is exactly why I switched to Bitcoin Cash for casino deposits last month. Made the switch after getting burned by a 14-hour LTC delay at another site during that October network jam. BCH blocks are consistently under 10 minutes, and most casinos only require 1-2 confirmations because the network is so stable.

Just yesterday I tested deposits at three different crypto casinos - wild.io processed my 0.3 BCH deposit in 18 minutes, start to finish. Compare that to your 8+ hour LTC nightmare and the choice becomes obvious. Plus BCH transaction fees are under $0.01 versus LTC's current $0.15-0.25 range during congestion.

The only downside is fewer casinos accept BCH compared to LTC, but the ones that do usually have faster processing times because they understand the network's reliability advantages.

Network congestion or not, Flush's deposit bonus structure still beats most competitors. Their Tuesday reload is 100% up to 2 LTC with 25x wagering, versus the industry standard of 35x. Even with the delay, that extra bonus value covers the inconvenience if you're planning to play anyway.

That said, I've been splitting my deposits between LTC and USDT during busy periods. Tether usually clears in 20-30 minutes regardless of network conditions.

Checked Litecoin's mempool data - we're seeing average confirmation times of 6.8 minutes per block since Monday, up from the normal 2.5-minute target. With Flush requiring 6 confirmations, that puts deposit processing at roughly 40-45 minutes under ideal conditions, but network variance can push it to 2-3 hours easily.

The 8+ hour delays you're seeing suggest either their processing queue is backed up or they're being extra conservative with confirmation counts during high-traffic periods.

Stats Paddock's math doesn't add up though. If Litecoin blocks are averaging 6.8 minutes since Monday and Flush requires 6 confirmations, that's 40.8 minutes under perfect conditions. But the original post says 8+ hours, which means either Flush bumped their confirmation requirements without announcing it, or they're batching deposits manually instead of processing them automatically.

I'd bet money they quietly increased from 6 to 12+ confirmations during this congestion period and just haven't updated their FAQ. Seen this exact move at three other crypto books over the past year - they jack up security requirements during network stress but never communicate it to players.
