Third deposit attempt failed today. Skycrown was processing Interac deposits cleanly for me through Q1 (5 deposits, all within 4-7 minutes). Since April 20-ish my Interac deposits are getting flagged at the bank end — RBC sends the e-Transfer, Skycrown shows the deposit as "pending," then 12-18 hours later it shows as "declined" and the funds bounce back to my RBC account.
Tested with two different RBC accounts (mine + my partner's) and same pattern. The error message on the Skycrown side is generic "transaction not approved." Their chat support said to try a different payment method, didn't acknowledge it as a system-level issue.
Wondering if RBC has updated their fraud screening rules specifically against Skycrown (some Canadian banks have done this to other operators in the past). Or if Skycrown's Interac partner is having issues. Anyone with current data?
